Dylan Halacy currently plays in Los Angeles with singer/actor Thomas Nicholas (American Pie/American Reunion movies). He has performed as the musical guest on the Andy Dick Show, and the Late, Late Show with singer/songwriter Bleu. He has also played around LA with the bands Angels Fall, and Red Circle Underground, and the actors Cassie Steele (Degrassi: Next Generation) and Harold Perrineau (Lost).

In 2009 he was the touring drummer for It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Live.   The performances featured the show's cast (Danny Devito, Charlie Day) and all performances were sold out.

Venues included Gibson Amphitheater, Fillmore West, Beacon Theater, and LA's Palladium.  A video of the performance from the Troubadour can be seen on the Season 4 DVD.

Dylan's drumming can also be heard on Guitar Hero II and Rock Band with the Boston based band Bang Camaro.  While in Boston Dylan taught at Berklee College Of Music's Percussion Festival in 2005 & 2007 where he had earlier attended.  It was during that time that he studied privately with Mike Mangini, Kenwood Dennard, and Dave Dicenso.  Prior to college, Dylan took private lessons with author and clinician Gary Chaffee for 4 years.

After high school Dylan joined the jam band Percy Hill which played over 500 shows around the North East U.S.  During a gig at NYC's Wetlands Club, the band was honored to have legendary bassist Victor Wooten sit in on a couple songs.

Dylan started playing the snare drum in 5th grade in New Hampshire, and started playing drumset in 8th grade.
