Bio: Dylan grew up in New Hampshire where he started drumming in the middle school band. He later when to the University of New Hampshire to study classical percussion but dropped out to tour with the jam band Percy Hill (http://percyhillmusic.com/). Dylan later went to Berklee College of Music before joining with the singer/songwriter Bleu (http://www.bleutopia.com/), and Bang Camaro (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bang_Camaro). He now lives in Los Angeles and plays with Mammoth (http://mammothla.com/), and teaches at the Pedrini School of Music in Alhambra, CA.
Current update: Dylan currently gigs with the hard rock band Mammoth (mammothla.com), and is one of the house drummers for jam night at The Baked Potato. He also teaches at The Pedrini School of Music in Alhambra, CA.

Dylan Halacy currently plays in Los Angeles with singer/actor Thomas Nicholas (American Pie/American Reunion movies). He has performed as the musical guest on the Andy Dick Show, and the Late, Late Show with singer/songwriter Bleu. He has also played around LA with the bands Angels Fall, and Red Circle Underground, and the actors Cassie Steele (Degrassi: Next Generation) and Harold Perrineau (Lost).
In 2009 he was the touring drummer for It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Live. The performances featured the show's cast (Danny Devito, Charlie Day) and all performances were sold out.
Venues included Gibson Amphitheater, Fillmore West, Beacon Theater, and LA's Palladium. A video of the performance from the Troubadour can be seen on the Season 4 DVD.
Dylan's drumming can also be heard on Guitar Hero II and Rock Band with the Boston based band Bang Camaro. While in Boston Dylan taught at Berklee College Of Music's Percussion Festival in 2005 & 2007 where he had earlier attended. It was during that time that he studied privately with Mike Mangini, Kenwood Dennard, and Dave Dicenso. Prior to college, Dylan took private lessons with author and clinician Gary Chaffee for 4 years.
